SUMMARY:2018 Rainbow Ball Fundraising Gala and Concert
DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we present the 2018 Rainbow Ball and Gala Fundraiser and Concert\, an evening featuring dance-themed music\, dinner and fundraising on October 20\, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Seattle Renaissance Hotel. \nAttendees will be treated to an elegant\, fun-filled evening including a cocktail reception\, dinner\, silent and live auctions\, and a full slate of concert band music. \nConcert band musical selections feature traditional and popular dance music including Danzon from Fancy Free (Bernstein)\, Symphonic Dance No. 3: Fiesta (Williams)\, Suite of Old American Dances (Bennett)\, and Just Dance (Lady Gaga) among others. \nProceeds go to Rainbow City Performing Arts (RCPA) to support community music\, purchase new instruments to expand the bands repertoire\, promote membership outreach\, and create a safe space for LGBTQA musicians of all levels to make music. \nFestive black tie and formal wear encouraged. The event will be hosted by Brian Calvert of KOMO News. \nThe evening doesn’t have to end after the auction!
