Spectrum of Identity
The Rainbow City Concert Band and Orchestra present music to celebrate the identities of marginalized artists and communities. We present a concert of music by black LGBTQIA+ composers and are proud to uplift the expression of a segment of our community who is often shunned or unsupported by their peers. The evening includes collaborative performances with STANCE (the Seattle Trans and Non-Binary Choral Ensemble). Join us, as we celebrate the beauty and importance of diverse identities through music!
The Rainbow City Concert Band and Rainbow City Orchestra are two of the many ensembles in Rainbow City Performing Arts, a nonprofit with a mission of increasing equity and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people. Performing many styles of music, they focus their performance on music of marginalized composers and themes that uplift through diverse expression of music.
Seating Options
Seats are available in three tiers.
Tier 1 $50 Sections L1, C1, R1, C2
Tier 2 $40 Sections L2, R2, L3, C3, R3, C4
Tier 3 $30 Sections L4, R4, L5, C5, R5
Senior citizens: Tickets are available for $20 (age 65+).
Youth/Students/Teachers: Tickets are available for $15.
