Raise your voice for an unforgettable afternoon of music and meaning.
Join the Rainbow City Concert Band and Orchestra for Voices of Change, the final concert of the Somewhere Beyond Season. A program celebrating the power of music to challenge, heal, and inspire. Bravely moving forward into the stories we are yet to write, this concert amplifies the new and diverse voices of living composers and storytellers, while honoring the historical figures who dared to change the future of music and music education.
From the raw, rhythmic force of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring to the world premiere of The Light in Dark Spaces by Azafi Aman, from Amy Beach's soaring choral drama to the bold wind writing of Julie Giroux and John Mackey, Voices of Change is a program of scope, depth, and beauty.
