Benefits of Being a Recognized Ensemble
- Access to Rehearsal Spaces: Enjoy limited access to rehearsal spaces during our main ensemble rehearsal times, providing you with a dedicated place to practice and connect with your ensemble.
- Inclusion on RCPA Website: Your ensemble will be featured on our website and booking form, increasing your visibility and helping you connect with a broader audience.
- Logistical Support: Get an email address and utilize our business functions so you can focus on performing.
- Music Library and Instruments: Gain access to our music library and instruments, giving you the resources you need to explore new repertoire and enhance your performances.
- Artistic Support: Receive coaching and artistic feedback from Artistic Staff, helping you refine your skills and achieve your musical goals.
- Performance Opportunities: Participate in sponsored concerts and events, as well as paid gigs that benefit both your ensemble and the organization.
Expectations for Recognized Ensembles
- Active Membership: All ensemble members must be active Rainbow City members. (minimum $75 annual commitment per member if not performing in other ensembles).
- Performance Commitment: Perform in at least two concerts per year, with at least one being sponsored by Rainbow City.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with our venue partners at University Congregational UCC for a service or event, if requested.
- Rehearsal Schedule: Maintain a designated rehearsal schedule to ensure consistent practice and preparation.
- Approval: Obtain approval from the Artistic Director to ensure alignment with the organization's standards.
