Encore Series: “Camera” with Rainbow City Orchestra

March 30 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

We are thrilled to collaborate with the Seattle Public Library (SPL) for this Encore Series performance of Rainbow City Orchestra’s (RCO) “Camera” concert repertoire. If you did not have the chance to see RCO at Benaroya Hall on March 9th, this is your chance to hear them live in the Microsoft Auditorium of SPL’s Central Library. Even if you were in attendance for our March 9th concert, we would love to see you again as we celebrate the extraordinary music that accompanies the iconic moments we capture on camera. This concert is FREE and open to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Seattle Public Library. We hope you will join us, whether it is your first or second time hearing RCO, to celebrate the sounds of cinema and television.

We are so excited to collaborate with the Seattle Public Library and further amplify the music of the LGBTQIA+ community. We hope this event inspires you to listen to new artists, or perhaps make music of your own! Rainbow City Performing Arts welcomes your support and engagement. Whether you are in the audience or on the stage, we look forward to welcoming you to the Rainbow City community.

The concert will include the following pieces:

“Thus Spoke Zarathustra” by Richard Strauss

“The Blue Danube Waltz” by Johann Strauss Jr.

“Movement 2” from Symphony No. 7 by Ludwig Von Beethoven

“What’s Up At the Symphony ” (Classical Music featured in Looney Toons animation) Arranged by Jerry Brubaker

“Batman: Mask of Phantasm” by Shirley Walker
