What You’ll Do

You’ll take the lead in managing and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and amplify Rainbow City’s mission. From coordinating with volunteers and contractors to planning innovative strategies alongside our Executive Director, you’ll guide the work that brings our vision to life. You’ll oversee meetings, ensure campaigns stay on track, and foster collaboration across teams, making a lasting contribution to our mission of equity and musical empowerment.

Experience in content creation, distribution, or team leadership makes you a strong candidate, and familiarity with project management is a plus. JOB SUMMARY

Manages the execution of marketing campaigns for the organization, which includes leading meetings with volunteers and maintaining contractor relationships. As the key driver of campaign operations, the Marketing Manager ensures all staff coordinates to achieve common goals to meet campaign objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the execution of campaigns
  • Manages volunteers and contractors to complete campaign needs.
  • Leads volunteer coordination meetings and provides a report of activity.
  • Works with the Executive Director to schedule and plan campaigns.
  • Performs other central marketing tasks as needed for volunteer and campaign support.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that the team’s operational goals and objectives, and performance standards, are met.
  • Manages workflow within the team; assigns tasks and evaluates direct reports’ work.
  • Provides continuous, timely performance feedback.
  • Supports volunteers’ continuous professional development.
  • Manages all personnel issues consistent with the organization’s policies and practices.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience with content creation and distribution, especially relating to arts or nonprofits.
  • Experience with team leadership and proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management preferred.

  • Work involves walking, talking, and hearing; using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
