Rainbow City Performing Arts has instruments and equipment available to loan to members. Certain instruments like drums and marching brass are routinely loaned, but we also have limited smaller winds and concert instruments available. Some ensembles also have uniforms that are provided and must be returned.

We cannot guarantee availability of any instrument and requests must be balanced with upcoming performance needs and previous unfilled requests by other members for use of the equipment. Please contact the Director of Operations for availability.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: Only active members in good standing, volunteers, and staff of Rainbow City Performing Arts are eligible to borrow instruments, uniforms, or equipment.
Purpose: Borrowed items must be used solely for activities directly related to Rainbow City Performing Arts events, rehearsals, or performances.
Reservation: Items must be reserved in advance through the designated booking system or coordinator. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Loan Period: The standard loan period is for the duration of the rehearsal term or performance. Extensions must be requested and approved by the Equipment Coordinator.
Care and Maintenance: Borrowers are responsible for the proper care and maintenance of the items during the loan period. Any damage or loss must be reported immediately.
Return: Items must be returned in the same condition as they were issued, barring normal wear and tear. Borrowers are responsible for ensuring items are clean and serviceable upon return.
Late Returns: Late returns may result in suspension of borrowing privileges. Repeated late returns may lead to permanent revocation of privileges.
Liability: Borrowers may be held financially responsible for repair or replacement costs due to damage, loss, or theft resulting from negligence or misuse.
Agreement: By borrowing items from Rainbow City Performing Arts, the borrower agrees to these terms and conditions and acknowledges their understanding of their responsibilities.
Amendments: Rainbow City Performing Arts reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure the responsible use of Rainbow City Performing Arts’ resources and to maintain the quality and availability of equipment for all members. It’s important that all borrowers read and understand these terms before borrowing any items.

Do you agree with the terms and conditions? *I agreeI agree to the terms and conditions of this loan agreement, and to hold myself responsible for the loss or any damages that may come to this instrument or its accessories while in my care. I agree that no other person will be allowed to use the above-referenced equipment and that I will return it in good condition at the commencement of the current term or when otherwise requested to do so. In addition, I agree to notify Rainbow City Performing Arts of any changes to my contact information that may occur during the time of this agreement.
