Join us for this second annual recital for two of our dynamic chamber ensembles: Flûtrange and Emerald City Horn Choir! You will hear beautiful sounds from these interesting ensembles in the sonorous sanctuary at University Congregational UCC in the U District.

Our flute choir, Flûtrange, includes all sizes from piccolo to the mighty bass flute. It's a gorgeous harmony that bends so finely all coming from the most beautiful of musical instruments. They have been an active ensemble for over 5 years and rehearse regularly to perform in venues throughout the region.

Emerald City Horn Choir started two years ago under the baton of Caleb Gomes, one of our staff members and a composer and arranger. The ensemble shows off the talented and dynamic french horn players of Rainbow City in a brass sound that can be both delicate and powerful. You'll be moved by the color and passion of these players as their bells point their sound back to reverberate and mix in the cavernous space.
