JOB SUMMARY

Designs graphics and documents to support central campaigns. This includes images, logos, fliers, posters, web pages, and other advertising materials. The designer works in advance to support marketing efforts with core materials and supporting ongoing work with edits and updated designs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates images, graphics, logos, and other materials as designated for campaign needs.
  • Designs advertisements and other promotional materials for both print and digital purposes.
  • Creates content according to design guidelines and represents diverse voices and perspectives.
  • Attends the monthly departmental meeting and works with other staff to generate campaigns.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management and designing with team input

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

  • At least 3 years’ experience using graphic design applications.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
