What You’ll Do

You’ll take charge of onboarding and supporting members, ensuring they’re connected to the ensembles and opportunities that match their interests. From keeping membership materials up to date to managing communications and retention programs, you’ll play a vital role in building connections and ensuring each member feels included. You’ll collaborate with staff and volunteers to make every member’s experience as accessible and meaningful as possible.

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees onboarding and retention of members of the organization. This includes operating the process to onboard new members, iterating materials, improving accessibility, overseeing member communication portals, and managing retention programs.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates process to receive new member requests and ensure those individuals connect with the next opportunity to join an ensemble.
  • Iterates and maintains materials for prospective members including current season information.
  • Understand the status and membership needs of each ensemble in the organization.
  • Assists members with accessibility needs to participate including connecting them with peer members and staff to provide additional assistance as well as connecting to inclusion programs.
  • Manages member circles and retention programs to increase inclusion.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience leading member engagement programs.

  • Proficiency with electronic spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Experience with project management and crisis management preferred.
