Title                     Social Media Coordinator

Reports to          Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Posts on social media accounts on behalf of the organization to support central campaigns. This includes scheduling posts, writing content, and collaborating on campaigns. Helps the organization remain visible and drives event attendance, membership requests, and supports fundraising.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Posts content on social media using scheduling software according to content calendar.
  • Assists in composing and editing text content for posts.
  • Seeks to fill in additional content space with more posts including ensemble photos, stakeholder highlights, holiday and recognition day posts, and reposts of partner content.
  • Tags other organizations and individuals as appropriate in posts and includes relevant hashtags.
  • Attends the monthly departmental meeting and works with other staff to generate campaigns.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience operating a nonprofit or business social media account.
  • Writing skills creating short content with a given tone and voice
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.

Title                     Guild Coordinator

Reports to          Administration Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Administers the volunteer support program for the organization. This includes tracking and reporting hours, connecting volunteers with open roles, iterating education and support programs, and provisioning accounts and benefits. The Guild Coordinator also evangelizes and communicates with staff to promote program opportunities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains documentation to track hours and other data needed for tax and grant reporting.
  • Connects volunteers to managers and other staff seeking volunteers to fill opportunities.
  • Work with staff to create and improve education and support materials.
  • Determine eligibility for benefits and provide them according to policy guidelines.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience with personnel or team management.
  • Proven team leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic spreadsheet and word processing applications.
