We're thrilled to announce a brand new logo system and design for our organization and ensembles! This project has been in the works for nine months and involved a lot of collaboration – surveys, focus groups, and meetings with our design partners. A special thanks to Graphiti Associates in Fremont who donated all their materials and expertise – a pro bono project worth over $50,000!
We decided to refresh our brand to better reflect our evolving mission and growing organization. Our mission now emphasizes diversity and visibility within the LGBTQIA+ community. We needed a cohesive brand identity to represent all our ensembles, as our old logo and branding materials lacked consistency and were difficult to manage.
The new brand features a cohesive and easily recognizable logo system for all ensembles, vibrant colors and photography to showcase our diverse membership, and easy-to-use design templates for volunteers to create marketing materials.
The new logo features a prominent "Rainbow City" name for better brand recognition, ensemble-specific logo variations that incorporate the Rainbow City logo, and a custom rainbow color scheme with music-related icons.
This new brand identity provides a professional foundation for our future marketing endeavors, and we believe it will help us attract new members, increase ticket sales, and secure more funding.
