Title                     Guild Coordinator

Reports to          Administration Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Administers the volunteer support program for the organization. This includes tracking and reporting hours, connecting volunteers with open roles, iterating education and support programs, and provisioning accounts and benefits. The Guild Coordinator also evangelizes and communicates with staff to promote program opportunities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains documentation to track hours and other data needed for tax and grant reporting.
  • Connects volunteers to managers and other staff seeking volunteers to fill opportunities.
  • Work with staff to create and improve education and support materials.
  • Determine eligibility for benefits and provide them according to policy guidelines.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Experience with personnel or team management.
  • Proven team leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic spreadsheet and word processing applications.

  • Work involves walking, talking, and hearing; using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
