JOB SUMMARY

The procedure coordinator works with other staff to document and maintain departmental procedures manuals. Providing guidance to managers and other volunteers, write clear and comprehensive procedures and help edit and evolve already documented procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain structured procedures manuals for each department
  • Work with departmental staff to document current procedures and suggest updates of outdated policies.
  • Research and draft procedures as requested and needed by the organization.
  • Assess effectiveness of existing procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Anticipate potential risks related to documented procedures and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

  • Ability to document existing procedures, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
  • Proficiency in gathering relevant data and using it to inform procedure analysis.
  • Attention to detail for precise and comprehensive writing.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with word processing applications.
