Title                     Member Newsletter Coordinator

Reports to          Marketing Manager


Responsible for creating and distributing a monthly newsletter to our members, showcasing our performances, events, and updates. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure a cohesive brand voice and visually appealing design.


  • Designs and creates a newsletter using email marketing software (e.g. Mailchimp).
  • Gathers and writes content, including news, updates, and announcements from various departments.
  • Coordinates with staff and volunteers to collect and edit content.
  • Ensures accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of newsletter publication.
  • Manages email lists, subscriptions, and unsubscriptions.
  • Analyzes and reports on newsletter performance (open rates, click-throughs, etc.).
  • Collaborates with marketing team on branding, design, and content strategy.
  • Attends the monthly departmental meeting and works with other staff to generate campaigns.
  • Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills that align with and support the organization’s Mission and Core Values.
  • Complies with the organization’s by-laws, policies, procedures, and member covenants; seeks clarification and guidance as necessary.


  • Experience operating an email newsletter or other regular content service.
  • Writing skills creating short content with a given tone and voice.
  • Strong design and layout skills.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Work involves using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
